I am an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at the School of Business Administration of the University of Miami.
My fields of specialization are Labor Economics, Applied Econometrics, and Applied Microeconomics.
My main areas of research are on the determinants and effects of public social policies, and on the econometric methods for program evaluation. My research has focused mostly on programs oriented to low-income individuals, analyzing their effects on labor and health outcomes, as well as their intergenerational effects. In addition, I have conducted research on the political economy factors that determine public policies, and on personnel economics.
