I am currently an assistant professor of economics at the University of Miami. I received a B.S. in Mathematics from the Universitat de Barcelona in 1991, an M.A. in Economics from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona in 1993, and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Minnesota in 2000. My research interests are in the areas of Macroeconomics, International Trade, Economic Growth, and Economic Development.
